March 24, 1976, a junta composed General Jorge Videla, Admiral Emilio Massera and Orlando Agosti brigadier took over power in Argentina. Following the coup, the military dictatorship, calling itself "National Reorganization Process," de facto ruled Argentina between 1976 and 1983.
A disastrous season for the Argentine people left emotionally and trimmers society with more than 30,000 missing.
